My view is that you need to be straight and clear with your doctor when relating your lived experiences of the apparent symptoms.
You dont need to have a srong feeling that you are bipolar, just take yourself with no pre-meditated view to colour your dialogue wit hyour Dr. There is a danger that people do carry out self diagonostic exercises on the internet, and becuase of fear they tend to easily associate the domains in the scales with their experiences. Well they might as well but they could transient due to different psychosocial/financial/environmental experiences at the time. This does not equate to having an enduring/chronic illness. Be firm go as you are and say it all as you feel, do or not do and how you relate with your global environment.
